I love your books. You don’t write them fast enough for me. I understand though because your characters have depth. After reading your books I think about them and I talk about them with my friends readers and non readers because they are so real to me. Every conversation the way you write is as if I am there eavesdropping on this characters. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait to see where you take me next.
Wow, I just finished ready the second release of the series. Your writing, tone, and diction are pretty phenomenal . You make me wish that I had pursued my writing passion especially and after reading the quality of your work. However, as a result, I find myself wishing I was part of some reader group / editing group. I listened to the pre-publication thoughts of “The Lows of Love” and appreciated the thoughtful explanation which is beneficial especially since both the character and many of your readers are from diverse background. Being a counselor myself I could readily identify with the concepts of broken homes, wounded parents , (and barring some intervention) wounded children (who unfortunately are most effected). Oh , I also wanted to mention that your ability to capture the essence of “love” if you will , at this energetic, careless age of self- indulgence was also very refreshing. In other words, this was awesome and I can’t wait for the third release and what I am calling in my own mind “a love high” . I cannot wait get to witness the growth and evolution of yet another fabulous ” love couple”. While I’ve said it before, you did it again !!!
You know it just hit me….As much as I’d like to blame BM2 for the miscarriage I can’t because I realize Kenny never had prenatal care AND she drank a lot the weeks leading up to her pregnancy reveal (case in point his first show on tour at the Garden’s). Kinda interesting considering this was a planned pregnancy. I had a feeling with breast development she might be preggers but then thought she was still on the pill. I mean you never gave a hint she stopped until the big reveal. But still the lack of prenatal care and excessive drinking during the 1st trimester is a beast.
This is true. It was a poor decision on her part. I don’t believe Kennedi thought about pregnancy at all when out in Malibu, which was irresponsible since she stopped BC. As she said, it was stupid. Very reckless, Mari.

That just blessed me. Thanks, Latoya! Keep in touch.
